A year after receiving my medical degree, I came to Japan with a strong personal interest in the broad field of immunology to understand the mechanisms of autoimmunity. As a physician or researcher, I believe that our responsibility is not only to treat the patient but also to extend healthy life expectancy during or after treatment. I used to be a pediatric surgeon and received my Master's and Ph.D. Degrees in Immunology and Genomic Medicine from Kyoto University Graduate School of Medicine. I am a very quick learner. I enjoy cooking, driving, sewing, traveling and learning a lot of things that are still unknown to me. Besides, I love to enjoy my life with my loving family.

I came to Kyoto without knowing anything about Japanese and the culture of Japan. Last 2 years, my only motivation was being a member of Matsuda Lab and observing the science environment there. Today, as an M1 student, I want to learn every detail of bioimaging from the wizards of this field. Hope to do my best and explore the nature of Japan during these years.
